Based in Llantwit Major, Sue Smith designs, builds and upgrades gardens in the South Wales area. As well as having over 20 years practical, hands-on gardening experience, Sue is qualified to HNC in Landscape Sciences and Design and has further qualifications in Floristry and Horticulture. Sue also lectures and writes on a variety of gardening and design related subjects.

Everything starts with a visit to the site and a discussion regarding client's 'wish-list'. The discussions will cover what is possible, what is practical and what problems can be expected and overcome. A design brief is then compiled, and a realistic budget is agreed.

The design plan is created and will include all hard and soft landscaping details, together with suggested focal points/artwork, maintenance plans and a comprehensive report.

Quotations are gathered from tried and trusted tradesmen and once agreed, the work of building/upgrading the garden can commence. Sue is available to manage the smooth running of the contract, visiting the site every day and for as long as necessary.

Acting as first point of contact for client and builder, Sue will ensure that your garden is constructed to her high standards, using first class, trustworthy tradesmen and quality plants and materials.
